About Nadine and Serenity's

Serenity’s Colonic Therapy is owned and operated by Nadine M. Marchuk, an I-Act Certified Instructor.
As a nursing major at Brigham Young University in the early ’80s, Nadine began to doubt the quick-fix trends of Western Medicine. However, she went on to work in hospitals for more than 20 years, mostly as a pharmaceutical buyer. In 2003, Nadine left hospitals to pursue a method of care that would vastly improve people’s health — without pills and side effects.
That method is colonic hydrotherapy. Serenity’s Colonic Therapy uses a state-of-the-art open gravity system, which mimics the methods used for centuries by doctors and others to cleanse the colon and improve health.
Nadine is the only I-Act Certified Instructor Level practitioner of open gravity colonics in the Reno-Tahoe area. In addition, her equipment is an FDA-approved Class 1 open gravity professional system, which has been deemed the “Cadillac” of all colonics by Dr. Bernard Jensen. Dr. Jensen, who studied from the great doctors at the turn of the century, was completely against closed-pressure colonics,.
